Source Type is an ongoing exploration of letterforms by Source. Each typeface begins as a question rather than a product — what remains of a hand drawn in ink, what a classical form becomes when pared back, how a design lost years ago might be recovered and made to speak again.

We are not a foundry, and these are not finished instruments. They are expressions, carrying the traces of their making — an uneven stroke, a proportion held slightly wider than convention allows. Released as they evolve, they are offered to those who wish to use them.
